Definitely want to return to spend even more time here, and walk around the grounds. Don't forget to visit the gift shop it's got a lot of nice things for yourself or for gifts. Food wasn't available at the time of our visit, but the Garden Cafe has some tasty offerings. During this time of COVID-19, we wore our masks and adhered to social distancing. And the Chihuly pieces throughout in different combinations or placements than on our previous visit were truly spectacular! Wish I had a map showing all the Chihuly placements, because I'm not sure I saw every one. The Botanical Gardens and Conservatory Building were exquisite. Our collection includes American and European modern art, Impressionism, German Expressionism, Cubism, folk art, contemporary art, glass, photography and more. We celebrate, cultivate and champion the creativity within each and every one of us. ![]() ![]() The gallery exhibit with the Chihuly small pieces and posters was nice. Columbus Museum of Art (CMA) creates great experiences with great art for everyone. Thrilled to see my first Chihuly of the day as we entered. CMA members and visitors to the Museum Store and Schokko Café enjoy free parking. Enjoyed a picnic under the trees before going in at our ticketed time. COSI will be OPEN this coming Monday, January 16 in celebration of MLK Jr. Park in the Museum’s lot for a flat 7 rate with payment taken at the admissions desk. We had visited the Conservatory once before in the early spring, so this summer opportunity to see more flowering plants, plus knowing their full Chihuly collection was on display, was a no-brainer. As a lover of Chihuly's glass art, this was a must-do visit as we drove home from an "all outdoors" roadtrip to the Hocking Hills.
